Ozonator Bulbs

To keep your pool or spa water in tip top shape, you will need to make sure you change the ozonator bulb on a regular basis. Ozonator bulbs typically last about 2 years and are relatively cheap to replace. If you are operating your ozonator 24 hours a day, you might need to replace the bulb sooner than 2 years but if you only filtering your spa 6 hours a day, it could even last up to 4 years. Most people don't even know that they do need to replace their bulbs or chips every few years.
