Air Switches

Hot tubs usually have two kinds of switches. One is the electrical switch and the other is the air switch. The air switch is connected to a top side air button and when the air button is pushed, it forces air into the switch which then causes the pump and other components to turn on. These type of switches do not require electricity. Air switches are located in the control box of your spa. Inside the control box, electricity will follow along a path given by the wires and switches. The air switch just provides a place for the electricity to cross over between the poles and contact points. They basically control electronic components like your jet pumps, blowers, lights, motors and parts and all the spa pack functions. They control the specific electronic parts in a sequential order. Make you you replace your air switch with another that is designed to be around wet environments.
